Welcome back to another Free Game Friday! This week’s topic is about incentivizing your training if you are an athlete, or your daily process if you are just working towards a goal that is important to you.

Incentivizing the process by setting smaller goals on the way to achieving a larger goal and rewarding yourself for achieving them can help provide positive feedback, ultimately making the experience more positive overall. For physical training, there are some byproducts of the process that are a natural incentive. A few of those being improved endurance, muscle mass, strength, or power. Additional incentives could be improved confidence, body image, and peer acceptance.

Take a second to think about a few ways that you can incentivize your training or progress to your goals. For a guide on a successful mindset, check out Josh Bryant’s book here.
