We all remember watching our first high level athletic competition or seeing “that athlete” perform in their element. For some, there was that one athlete who could jump higher than others or sprint faster than their competitors. I remember watching friends in a middle school PE class dunk with one hand, that was also the day that I decided basketball with me.

All jokes aside, many questions in the athletic world revolve around identifying and developing athletic potential. As recent research has shown, there are several domains of athletic performance which range from exercise biomechanics and explosive power to psychological characteristics (Predictive athlete performance modeling with machine learning and biometric data integration – PMC).

Yet, the field is still split on what to measure, how best to measure it, and then what to do with the results. That is why Quincy Johnson Fitness LLC is proud to partner with The Complete Athlete LLC on a new endeavor focused on predicting athletic performance based on a proprietary algorithm. The Complete Athlete LLC is a member of the 2026 KU Innovation Park Lab2Market Accelerator which supports the next generation of innovative business growth. This partnership will help The Complete Athlete LLC develop a web-based application for delivering their algorithm as well as provide media coverage to keep you up to date.

We hope to leverage our understanding of peak athletic performance to enhance the ability to predict performance and provide training and recovery solutions to enhance athletic performance. Additionally, we will provide updates here as we begin to provide exclusive access to QJF members to test out the algorithm.
